I live in Czech and I dont know anyone who smokes so this is strange to me. I see people in bars smoking but that is about it . Smoking outside not inside.
Seems incredibly low to me. A pack a day is 7300 per year. I smoke around 9000 a year. Britain and Norway smokers are smoking just over a cig a day, that can’t be right
I am surprised about France.
Norway and Sweden have snus (tobacco tea bags you put under the lip). That’s why smoking is so low. Plus they’re generally pretty health-minded people.
I am guessing they are including social smokers in this as well, people that will have a cigarette with their friends for example. Therefore the average evens out. Overall but very useful, would be better to understand % of regular smokers and % of social smokers.
actually that is the map of “happy aaand un happy “🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼
Quitting smoking is the second best thing a person can do in their life
In Poland cigarrettes are now too expensive and young people not starting with this delight
Now what might also be interesting to show is how cigarette prices correlate to these numbers. In the Netherlands one pack of cigarettes is now more than 9 euros.
P.s. Some of these numbers seem incredibly low to me. When is someone considered a smoker?
No way in hell that Slovenia has more than Croatia.
Or that Serbia has less.
UK can into Nordics
smoked or smoked + smuggled?
Belarus kinda looks nervous.
What the hell is going on in Bulgaria?
How can you name someone a smoker if he average 1 cigarette per day? Is Norway like everyone smoke when drinks and never else?

Is there anything Norway doesn’t excel at?
