Hello lovely people, a few weeks ago my mother gave a telemarketer some basic credentials (name, phone number, address) and since then she’s been getting calls that have been increasing in frequency, yesterday she got 5 calls in one hour. Different numbers each time, always with an Austrian prefix (+43) and different locations when we looked them up with reverse trackers. Always about some lottery we never signed up for, but they never give a specific name we can look up. Today we finally got a bundle of forms and stuff in the post ([https://imgur.com/a/5cx1CBz](https://imgur.com/a/5cx1CBz), addresses and name censored for safety) and the company seems to have positive reviews we assume are from bots.
We don’t care about the legality or validity, we just want them to leave us the hell alone, due to my mom’s work she can’t block unknown callers and changing her number completely will be a hell of a headache to sort out over months. The callers are registered at Telekom, do we call them, or follow a coworker’s advice and call the police? No one seems to be able to give us a straight answer, but if anyone has had experience with this “Glöckle Lotterie”, have you had the same?
Thanks in advance and have a great day!

Report that to [Bundesnetzagentur](https://www.bundesnetzagentur.de/DE/Vportal/TK/Aerger/start.html;jsessionid=7BAD2BBE728B05250390F785284CD50F) and provide screenshots and a detailled protocol when you were called.
Also, if your phone can block numbers that are not in your contact list, use that option. There might be an option to block “unknown” callers.
I had/have the same exact problem. They spam-called me for weeks. Sometimes dozens of calls a day. Unfortunately, you can’t really do anything to stop it, besides getting a new number. The numbers are spoofed and as you pointed out, they change every call.
What I did:
– Silence unknown numbers (iOS settings)
– Block calls with no number (Phone network support)
I made sure to never take their calls and they just recently started decreasing their call rate. (After at least 8 weeks of constant calling) I only get a call every few days now. I think eventually they‘ll give up.
