Why the Germans think Charles is wunderbar! Local media and crowds go wild for the monarch as it emerges the King ‘wanted Germany to be his first state visit as a sign of his love for the country’ which he ‘sees as a pioneer’ and ally in climate change

They like him for all the reasons thing the Daily Mail hate. He’s a passionate environmentalist and pro-European. Well that and the Germans are Anglophiles.
As a German I have to say we absolutely don’t think he is wunderbar.
Most people are totally indifferent about him and those who have a distinct opinion are rather critical of the concept of inherited privilege a hereditary monarchy represents.
The most powerful diplomatic tool we have.
Losing it would be the only thing worse than losing our EU membership.
They’re about a green as he is, big cars, no speed limits, flying off on holidays a lot

He was literally going to France until the protests stymied that.
“So you were going to France last week”
“Yeah, but I really wanted to come here first”
“WOW!”
“No worries, we thought you’d be harder to hoodwink than that”
An alley in climate change! Don’t make me laugh, has he not seen Germany’s vast open coal mines?
I work with alot if Germans and they would agree he’s probably an inbred, nonse, land hoarding, evil fella who’s done bad things we would never have known about
