This guy have been on a government salary for last 10 years while running his private businesses.
Now given a new government salary worth 70k.
Fuck this country.
While I abhor the misuse of public funds, the article is a little misleading. No-one expects the Executive Chairman of a College to be on site regularly, that’s not the role. HOWEVER I’ve some issue with the Exec chairman being paid a multiple of the minimum wage in the first place. IMO public appointments should be paid no more than minimum wage.
