Never understood what all the fuss was about that song to be honest. Like I understand the history and story behind it. But the tune of the song itself ain’t great.
Back about 99-00 Jim McCann was doing a tour of pubs around Ireland. I was living in Leighlinbridge in Carlow at the time.

100 people in the pub and everyone is looking for Grace. He said “NO” he’d do it at the end. He said “In one pub in Wexford he had 200 in a pub and done Grace second and as 5 minutes after it ended there was 15 people left”.
