From my visit to Monastery Agios Georgios Rigatis, near Kyra, Northern Cyprus. It is very sad to see a historical monument in bad condition. Can you translate as possible the sign in the last photo?

Just mentioning when it was renovated..
It’s a army thing. A turkish soldier was here at some point.
Yücel???-??Çekmece (some letter missing)
82-4 (Conscripted into the army in 1982 – 4th round.)
It’s common to see turkish soldiers mark their name and “conscription round” (not sure how to translate this but im sure the Cypriots that served would know)
It seems that the only thing occupying forces cared about is taking off the cross.
The Holy here temple
Of Staint George the Regatou
Was inaugurated under the Prior Bishop
Onoufrios Moustakis from Sparta
From the self ruling church of Jerusalem
Honored in the year of our saviour Lord *smashed hole* 1955
When i visited the north, as a greek cypriot seeing so many monuments like this made my heart drop. it is surreal. i imagine turkish cypriots feel the same about mosques on our side, but the very least we actually maintain the outside of the buildings..
You expect the turks to respect christian churches
the last time they cared they turned the most importan church in the world into a mosque
you can’t expect respect from guys like the turks
