A bed in a shared room with a cardboard box for a divider

  1. No respect, no decency, no privacy, no decor, no enforcement.

Third world country standards in a supposedly EU member state.

Reaching new lows just to make some extra money so one can live as a ‘sinjur zghir’, profiting from other people’s misery and lack of knowledge.

U iwa mhux xorta 🤷🏻 ejja suq ghax sebah!

  2. They tell us to go back to our country, but then they are happy to rent you “this”. Sir, you making profit from us, are you sure you want us gone?

  3. i hear of stories where allegedly people rent a bed for a specific time slot….meaning that when you are at work someone else may be sleeping in “your” bed.

if that is indeed the case – having a cardboard divider may actually be a step above the shared bed scenarios.

a live-able wage should be a fundamental human right !

  4. I love Malta that’s why I chose to live there. But the dark side is that it’s a tax haven disguised in a Third World country, all wrapped up in EU political correctness. I assume this shared room is rented 800 euros…

  5. Hope this is a joke… Marija madunna ahjar tikri il-kamra shiha bid-doppju ta’ l-ammont milli taqa’ ghan nejk hekk!

  6. The people who rent these beds out, and put up rooms in such a shit condition I wouldn’t let a cockroach live in them, they honestly deserve to get run over by a truck.

  7. Madonna with the first 2 months’ rent the landlord could have bought, two single beds…even less if he went cheap and got them off marketplace.

  8. It’s been removed from FB now. I reported it as a scam (which it’s not but who cares about niceties). Scum.

  9. This is very obviously illegal. Such as is estate agents selling 1 bedroom + study apartments as two bedrooms, and charging clients accordingly.

Until the authorities start taking this seriously, by setting up mystery shoppers, and fining the culprits accordingly, then they are simply aiding this situation to propagate further.

  10. Your missing the point.. They are capitalising on the recent surge in work from home tenants…remove the mattress and sheets and BAM!! Home office and you saved on buying desk dividers… Genius
