As an Italian living near Rome, I know this guy had a LOT of skeletons in the closet. The scandal of Banco Ambrosiano, cover to pedophiles, stupid turbo-right leaning world view, leaving cardinal Romero to die alone… He did a lot of bad stuff and for sure didnt deserve to become a saint.
