You wondering why someone put that up? I would guess, despite what any rational person might think of this road, at one stage someone did try to overtake there.
Every time I think “no-one could possibly be that stupid” I learn that someone was, indeed, that stupid.

Overtaking that sign might an a danger in itself
It has tarmac on it, so I personally would be doing 80k, no problem. If you are going slower than that, I’d be overtaking you as well.
does it mean no left-hand drive cars?
Just do the 80KM and you’ll be grand

Just use the hedge as a ramp and jump over.
Because some moron trying to squeeze past a digger, etc, and ending up in the ditch because they didn’t realise they weren’t driving a challenger tank is a regular thing
