The guilty will never take responsibility because they don’t have to. All they have to do is stand in a circle and point at whomever is on their left.

I thought it was the fault of the residents? I mean they lacked common sense during the fire, and it’s the **tennants** who are at fault for the cladding as well. I mean they didn’t have to live there if they didn’t like the cladding?

The guilty never *take* responsibility. It has to be forced on them. That’s why we have courts and laws.
Because they each blame a different guilty party over who is ultimately responsible. They do not feel the need to take responsibility when there is another group who could easily be blamed for the disaster. The idea that more than one of them is responsible is alien to them.
I could be a caricature of the MTV-generation’s apathy, but nothing boils my piss as much as this shit. If our govt has such a fucking hardon for their pissweak attempt at setting up their own little authoritarian establishment, why don’t they do a bit of fucking good for a change and go after the cunts who barbequed people? They’re all as guilty as each other. Just point and shoot (not literally).
The problem is that no one will ever be charged with a criminal offence of Grenfell.
Never forget that the local council refused to consider the Grenfell tenants’ petitions for maintenance and repairs, but had time to address noise complaints from the rich towers in the area
