Funny story – china has been doing this for years and not even their elites, just fairly low to med ccp members of which there are 90 million of them in china
Russia is finally doing what the EU & co should have done from day one: banning Russian ‘elites’ from travelling.
This is just another thing in Russia that is being re-introduced from Iron Curtain times.
Russian freedom.
Excellent, the EU should follow this trend and stop issue visas for russians, double whammy…
Trying to emulate North Korea one day at a time.
No more Thailand and Dubai for Russians? Oh no!
As if the elites didn’t buy passports to other countries such as Malta or Mauritius
Over 650.000 Russians are now in Phuket, Thailand.
According to local expats living in Phuket, it have had 3 really negative effects.
The prices on apartments and houses have doubled.
It’s now very expensive and more difficult for foreigners to get a 12 month education visa for Thailand.
It has become very dangerous to drive on the roads in Phuket. There’s is crazy many cars, the accidents have risen. They say it’s chaos.
Article says “officials and state company execs”
Possibly includes the elite but it sounds more like they’re keeping the state employees at home and dont want more ppl moving over the nearby borders to Georgia, Turkey and Kazakstan.
Someone making his country look more like Soviet for every month that pass.

Literally 90% of the articles about Russia.
Forcing people to stay in your country is one of the big signs of a shit hole system
*The Soviet union would like to know your location*
Honestly that sounds like a win for everyone. Who wants Russians outside their country?
and 200k hipster russians in Serbia 😩
they are retarded, opening stores with russians language only, hanging only with russians, its like they are creating small russia here
and funniest thing here is that every company that hires foreigner with salaray over 2500 euro gets 70% tax exemption. i am so pissed of about this while our citizens struggle with housing and food prices and paying 58% in taxes for salaries around 600eur
The elite hopefully got more that only the russian citizenship. Good choice to leave, take all your assets and have a better life elsewhere
As if the elite don’t have fake passports and other failsafes to escape, let’s be real here…
Russia already was a big prison were only a part of its inhabitants could travel abroad, but since they started a war in Ukraine last year less and less people can travel.
If people want to leave Russia surely they can find a way to do it.
GDR wants to know your hidden secret to this.
I’ll trade defectors for dumb tankies
Omg, holders of Russian passports are persecuted and oppressed by a hostile government. Russia is gonna invade soon to protect them.
/s just in case

Step by step ruzzia is turning into what Stalin created after the Second World War. All it will take is for your neighbour not to like you, and you’ll wake up in Siberia is penal colony.

Sounds like a great strategy, Vlad
