Nothing about this is quick. How long till it’s delayed til 2130.
Mmm that’s 7 years away… what so 11 year olds can do the leaving cert?
Free school books and a proper free for all at the point of use health service.
Pay the nurses and docs, stop them and the docs from working days on end, hire more! Build back the hse overhead. Chop chop.
Tell you what lads, how about we fire the few dozen consultants and advisors for all the TDs and just give me one of their salaries.
I’ll throw out the yes/no on each issue in like 15 minutes or so. The tricky ones I might have to think on over a cuppa and a biscuit, but I’ll be back to ye by lunch.
Love this idea, did a paper on the Japanese model of food for school-age children which is amazing and has been adopted by 14 countries so far.
2030 is so woefully unambitious. Is this really the best they could do? Why not this year? Why not this month?
I’m glad that all that meal preparation facilities in every school was built overnight.
Stuff like this takes time. The implementation will be phased, but you can;t fit that into a headline and there’s no fun in being outraged against reality.
Never understood why we didn’t do free school lunches like so many other countries.
This is a waste of resources. A packed lunch is sufficient provided by parents. If parents are incapable of providing a packed lunch the children should be put in a foster home where thwy can be cared for properly.
