  1. So they spent tax money on painting a train carriage that no one in the local community asked for, to pander to a minority who also never asked for it. Pointless virtue-signalling.

  2. If it’s going between Waterloo and Weymouth, this Intersex-inclusive train will also be Interrail-inclusive. I’ll confess that makes me happy.

Now let’s get some TransPennine express trains painted so we can make this thread [Comments Restricted ++]

  3. In the olden days a train company just operated trains, that took you from A to B, more or less. They didn’t really have an opinion about your sexuality or your private life.

  4. People born with differences of sex development have their own distinct needs and many do not appreciate their medical problems being co-opted into identity-based political movements. A lot of these orgs just add the “I” because they think it makes them look more inclusive, while knowing next to nothing about DSDs and doing nothing useful to improve the lives of people who have them.

  5. It’s just South Western trains jumping on the rainbow paint job bandwagon to make themselves look good. First buses did it too, just in time for Pride Day.

  6. It’s a fucking train. As long as it turns up and on time, i doubt many people will give a damn. hell, they probably could have used the cash for this PR job to do something better with it.
