Hi everyone, I apologize if this question is annoying, but I have checked several sources and I see conflicting information regarding the COVID-19 rules and I hope someone can help me or speak about their recent experience flying.

I am planning to fly to Romania in the next few days from the Netherlands and will stay for about one week. What I’m confused about is whether I need a PCR test if I’m vaccinated to avoid quarantine.

[EU](https://reopen.europa.eu/en/map/ROU/7001) and [IATA](https://www.iatatravelcentre.com/world.php) (what my airline uses) says I don’t need a test as I have the EU certificate and will not need to quarantine. [KLM](https://klm.traveldoc.aero/results) says I will need to test to avoid quarantine. The [Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs](https://www.nederlandwereldwijd.nl/landen/roemenie/reizen/reisadvies#anker-coronavirus) (only in Dutch) says I don’t need to quarantine if I’m staying less than 3 days, but if I stay longer, then I will have to quarantine on the 4th. I can’t see any clear information on the [Romanian gov website](https://gov.ro/ro/masuri).

Furthermore, it seems if I need to test, it specifically needs to be a PCR (and not a rapid antigen test but that is not clear either). A PCR costs like 80 euros here, so if I don’t need one I would prefer to choose my own test.

Can anyone speak to their recent experience flying with an EU certificate? Or does anyone have any further sources I could consult? A hotline?
