It’s not a vendetta at all, the mail have been fucking with his life since the day he was born, this is about hacking his phone, something the daily mail was found guilty of about a decade ago. And something they apparently never stopped doing.
The first accusations against the mail for phone hacking go back to the early 90’s FFS….
Edit, to avoid the usual, I’m going to add I’m a Republican who doesn’t want to hear about any of these feckless wankers at all but if headlines are going to be thrust into my face online and in shops at least make them semi related to reality.

The Press would have done the usual and bury this court case on page 24 … but when a Prince turns up in person as one of the plaintiffs it makes it incredibly hard to not run this story on the front page.
