  1. A lucky charm, trinket, they come in many shapes, usually animals. They are supposed to bring good fortune

  2. I hear some poles put fish scales in there wallets/purse for good luck.

  3. Dude its a carp of plenty. Its related to an old polish fairy tale about old fisherman that died during one of his catches.

He was reborn as a carp to provide for his family. Every night he would crawl out of the pond to his beloved daughter to give her money that he found at the bottom of the pond.

    Beautiful

  4. I have slow Wi-Fi so I thought you actually caught a fish with the grosz in its stomach.

  5. Thanks for everyone’s response, I couldn’t find anything on google. Believe it or not, it was found in a self check out coin slot in New Jersey, US😂 guess it’s my lucky day

  6. 1 grosz has such a small value that you can find souvenirs with groszes glued to them, all for a good luck

  7. not much to say. you can often find 1gr coins made into various decorations “for luck”

you can also find machines where you put 2zł + 1gr, and it crushes the 1gr with a press to turn it into a souvenir

  8. Lol, karpia łuska i grosik w jednym. Jeszcze brakuje żyda, kominiarza i słonia.

  9. Dla tego sprzedawcy zawsze grosika wiszą no kuźwa
