Interesting comments from the judge in the Enoch Burke case,

  1. Mr White SC: Enoch Burke was never required to hold any particular belief (by the school).

Judge: He was just required to refer to the child by a different name and pronoun?

    Mr White SC: Precisely.

Judge: And what’s so difficult about that?

  2. Every so often I click into one of this wondering should I maybe give twitter another go.

Then I look at some of the replies and realise that no, I really don’t.

Fair play to the judge by the way. Delighted to see this family getting the pushback. There is absolutely nothing stopping them from practising their faith, and I will agree they should be allowed to do so as much as I find it despicable. They should not, however, be allowed to impose it on anyone else.
