What is the Icelandic name for the WH40k Blood Ravens?

  1. Every thing here is totally wrong, Blood obviously means realtions, as they are all Clones.

Therefore the correct icelandic in the correct cultural economic context is:

    “Hrafn Frændi” for singular

    “Hrafn Sifjalið” for plural

Icelandic is very context specific and full of words having double meaning, so it is easy to make this mistake, like if you met my Einar frændi you would completely know this, you know.

  2. Ránfuglar

so it’s a compound word made up of rán (robbery/raid) and fuglar(birds, plural). In Icelandic it’s a synonym for birds of prey but it can work as a pun for robber-birds/mugger-birds.

  3. IDK much about the WH40K lore but my Icelandic is pretty good, so the straight translation would be “Blóð Hrafnar”

  4. In case you didn’t already know the Icelandic warhammer community is most active online on facebook, the group is called “warhammer á Íslandi”

We’re a bunch of friendly folks there! Come visit us
