Numbers don’t add up. According to the article UBS+CS employed 125’000 people globally with 3% of that working in Switzerland. That makes 3’750 employees in CH and they will lay off 11’000 in CH?
Many unnecessary expats are now forced to return home and play a game of musical chairs there. Good news. The bank jobs can then also be converted into jobs with real productivity instead of shoveling the money from the right pocket to the left pocket.
