Julia Roberts in Michael Collins is infamous. Leo Di Caprio was also pretty bad in Gangs of New York.
Norman Reedus in Boondock Saints was pretty bad
Of course, there’s always Tom Cruise in Far far away, but that’s a well-known case now.
Brad Pitt’s accent in Snatch isn’t very authentic but it’s funny and entertaining nonetheless.
Brad Pitt in The Devils Own and Tommy Lee Jones in Blown Away, both of those are abominations of Northern Irish accents
Assassin’s Creed Rogue. The guy you have to play as is in reality a french Canadian actor. But he is playing ” Shay Patrick Cormac” and has the *worst* accent I’ve ever heard
Angel is well up there, but for me it has to be Justin Theroux in the second Charlie’s Angels. It bears emphasising, he’s an extremely talented actor, but wtf that was I have no idea.
Brad Pitt when he was in that dreadful movie about the Ra trying to buy SAM misslies.
Tom Cruise in Far & Away.
Michael Fassbender in Jonah Hex. Yes I know he’s Irish. You listen to that performance and tell me it isn’t the most diddly aye thing you’ve ever heard
His normal American accent actually sounds more Irish at times regarding certain phonetics than his put on one.
The Jack Taylor cringe fest. I don’t know how anyone kept a straight face while he was doing it or why nobody raised a hand to say “this is really awful shite.”
What part of Galway did people dress like that in the 1700s😂
Cameron diaz in gangs of new york is definitely up there.
The bad thing about his accent, he was actually engaged to an Irish girl at the time. Her sister was the year below me in secondary school. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman – Far and Away awful
Certainly other examples of terrible accents, but Wild Mountain Thyme isn’t particularly good for anyone doing accents, including Jamie Dornan
The woman from Gangs of New York
Kevin Spacey – Ordinary Decent Criminal
Any of nuns in 1923.
Tommy Lee Jones in Blown Away.Went from Hollywood Oirish to Welsh to Pakistani.

Season two of Heroes where they go to Cork for an episode.
I give you Barney Stinson (HIMYM) of Dougie Hoosier fame aka Neil Patrick Harris.
He’s meant to be from Killarney but sounds like he’s from Australia
