My former employer (in the US) allowed me to use up to 5 of my own (paid) sick days per year to stay hone with a child who couldn’t go to school / daycare for health reasons. No questions asked, no paperwork. It was a life saver. Is this a thing in Ireland?
So will my employer have to give me an actual proper reason for why I have to be in the office instead of working from home now?
