It’s incredible how competent some minister positions suddenly are since the CDU is gone.
Not just Özdemir, but also Pistorius.
I have quite a sweet tooth, but I wouldn’t mind if we even got a sugar tax in Germany and made healthier food actually affordable. Vegetables and Fruits are so expensive that poorer folks (poor families, students, apprentices etc.) can’t afford healthy stuff and have to buy unhealthy options stretched with sugar among other things.
Banning junk food ads for children is a valuable first step so that future generations don’t grow up craving for sugar and fat all the time, but instead eat it on an occasion.
