Just returned from our first trip to Norway. Had a wonderful time. I did have a question, what’s up with the trees in Oslo and Bergen? Tried to google around but likely not searching the correct term. I assume these are trimmed back yearly?
This happens because the trees are pruned in the same place each time they are pruned. This gives the trees that form there. We call it “knutekolling” in Norwegian.
