A human made mountain measuring 420 m long, 270 m wide, 38 m high and elliptical in shape was planted with 11,000 trees by 11,000 people from all over the world at the Pinziö gravel pits in Finland.

  1. The project took 14 years and it’s now protected for 400 years, eventually creating a virgin forest. The trees are planted in intricate mathematical patterns.

  2. Wow, good job. They all look the same though, next time they should think about responsible biodiversity, and make sure people aren’t fossil-jetting across the planet on eco projects.
