Who can explain this scheme?

  1. It looks like a scam and at the same time it doesn’t, since the postman give you the money and then you give them the package.

Which firm is doing that ? I know Post has a similar service where you can just give you package for expedition to your postman

  2. 1. You never get money but a parcel and an invoice in your name that you have to pay
    2. Something “unexpected” will come up with you ending up paying real money and only getting Monopoly money.
Sort of the typical “Amazon reimbursement scam”: Victim calls, centre “processes” the reimbursement and “accidentally” ends up “paying” ten times the reimbursement amount (in reality, they simply change the text shown in your browser) and ask you to go buy gift cards for a certain amount and to send them the codes. You never got money but they have gift cards to use/sell.

  3. It’s amazing fun to mess with these people. Give them the address of the ducal palace or start asking for more than the posting price, increasing with every reply! Or just drag them along for hours with boring stories… the internet is a playground!

  4. I tried to sell a car about half a year ago and I received at least 6 messages exactly like this, but instead of a parcel service, someone with a truck will show up, after the postman had brought me +7k€ in cash, or some bullshit like that.
