I am tired and cross that roadworks mean I cannot charge my car at home (I know, first world problems) and can’t quite decipher this sign. I mean, I know what the words mean, but can’t tell if I could be lazy and not move my car until morning, avoiding going back out in the rain and trying to find a parking space (since the road is literally a giant hole in front of my house, for a year apparently, grr). Help please!

I think you can leave it there after 3pm since it‘s 3h max until 6pm. I could be wrong
8 until 6 max 3 hours for ice cars, maximum stay 3 hours. Except electric cars which can park all hours but also max 3 hours and only if charging
I read it as there is no parking allowed in that spot between 8h and 18h (Mon-Fri) unless yours is an electric vehicle. In which case you can park there between those hours but only up to a duration of 3hrs.
Outside 8h-18h (Mon-Fri) any vehicle can park there for any length of time.
Parking prohibited Mo-Fri between 8:00-18:00 with the exception of electric cars for 3 hors max.
Meaning between 8:00 – 18:00 Mo-Fri you can park your electric vehicle there by using the parking disc where you indicate your intended hour of departure.
E.g. you arrive there at 15:00 on a Friday. You park. You set your disc card to show that you intend to leave at 18:00 (max length).
If police is checking parking during that time you’re covered by the parking disc.
After 18:00 you can leave it there until Monday morning at 08:00.
Although not nice to keep that charger not usable for the whole weekend. 🙂
Thanks guys! I will probably move it this evening rather than being a couch potato!
Its an electric charger. You plug your car in and voila!
You can park there overnight not sure what it says about charging overnight.
And concerning the roadworks: elections are this year 😉
P.S.: have you tried the road behind the police office? There sometimes are parking spots there at the beginning of the road towards the parking you are talking about
Sorry but where’s the confusion there?
Thanks for asking this question. Many signs like this in Luxembourg and I am wondering as well.
Can someone please confirm that the text means that there are no restrictions on parking at night and on weekends? Thanks
Don’t park working days between 8-18 unless you’re an electric vehicle , and even then only 3 hours. Outside of these hours , do what you want
I don’t know why everyone is wrong. I live in Luxembourg since I was born. You can park there from 8-18h with parking disk, parking disk is max 2h. And electric card 3h.
Technically, it means no parking or waiting during those hours, except for 3 hours of charging, but you can drop off or pick up. I’ve no idea about the parking disc local regulations. I’d be pissed if I got a ticket as a foreigner.
