Reason for not wanting to replace the windscreen is I’m planning on getting rid of the car in the next 6 months but NCT is due in 2months – so wondering if crack that size is an automatic fail (there are no chips) and it’s not in the drivers eyeline?

Yes
That’s driver side
Yes. It’s within Zone A and greater than 10mm

Yeah think any crack fails.
I’d stick the car through if you have it booked just a visual recheck anyway.
Yes, but how long is the crack there?
Not sure I’d be happy driving with that size a crack in any event. One tip and it could go entirely.
Yep sorry lad
Depends on the size of the bribe.
Definitely a fail. Can you not get the window replaced under your insurance? You don’t lose your NCB for glass breakage
Yes
It fails but check with your insurance. Glass breakage won’t affect your premium in future
Yes it will fail, and because the crack reaches the edge of the screen it can’t be fixed by the likes of autoglass. The whole screen will need replacing
The crack reduces the strength integrity of the windscreen and is dangerous. Needs to be replaced.
