  1. how is that even allowed?

they want to build a kulliye , they want to build a new parliament … but children go to school in tents?

  2. Who would have thought? It’s some of the Greek Cypriots that wanted to unite with Greece but is actually the forbidden north that has achieved it. Mitsotakis would be proud of those tents. Thank a god that you don’t have trains.

  3. Can we get a bit more context like why are they in tents? Do they simply not have enough classrooms for the students? Are the schools in disrepair?

  4. To be fair, as far as I know, this is a temporary solution. After the earthquake in Turkey, people started to care about the building safety. That high school and few others are not going inside the building until they complete the examinations of the building safety. It is shame that no one talked about the building safety before, horrible things could happen, if those buildings are unsafe.

North Cyprus had a lot more needs before it comes to building a palace or a mosque.
