Pretty sure you’re not supposed to swim in glendalough its pretty dangerous
I had a buddy do this but he wasn’t used to swimming in freshwater(he didn’t realise it was harder to swim in it). He swam out way too far and barely made it back to the shore. His wife and kids were there. He didn’t tell them he nearly drowned!
I’ve a cottage booked up there at the weekend, less than 5 minute walk away. Can’t wait to get out of Dublin
