If the pay for NHS staff is better through an agency then the obvious is going to happen.
This should be an eye opener for anyone who doesn’t realise the cost of healthcare.
The NHS is extremely cheap for the user compared to private systems. Right now the NHS/government fronting the bill for these agencies but imagine if Joe public has to pay it out of pocket.
If NHS pay the staff decent wages they would stop working for agencies and start working for NHS . But they won’t do that as Tory friends owned agencies can’t milk our public money .
Probably same story for care and education. My SEN school has loads of agency staff and I’m sure it’s the same in a lot of old people’s and children’s homes. The agencies are making a fucking fortune.
Yes and look into who owns or has large control of these agencies, Tory donor Lord Ashcroft is one that springs to mind. It’s fair enough saying “we’re pumping more money than ever into the NHS” but you have to realise where a lot of that money is going anyway.
