  1. Fascinating stuff. So basically nepotism and maintenance of power through single families, be that politics, royalty, business, land ownership, whatever, is as old as the hills.

  3. We know that up until a couple hundreds years ago, it was very common for people to marry within their village, this will obviously lead to a lot of cousin fucking. It isn’t an Irish phenomenon.
