The paedophile relish is definitely cheaper – not that I’d be contributing to that
Mmmm caramello…
Nothing more Irish than Steak Sauce and Caramellos. I’m gone misty-eyed picturing generations of men leaving the sites on Canary Wharf to buy some Hot Chocolate Drink and Tiffin.
We have a higher sugar tax than the UK, so perhaps thats why some stuff is cheaper. £3.25 for the curry sauce seems a bit high tbf.
TIL: Fig rolls are an irish thing
There’s a ‘British’ import shop (that’s fully stocked by Supervalu goods) that I sometimes go to here in Belgium, and it suprises me, since a lot of the time, the prices are nearly the same as back home, or even a bit cheaper.
Protestant Taytos
Around 17% cheaper. Caramello is €1.60 here.
Well it’s still cheaper than any Spar here.
Will you stick a box of Barry’s in the post for me 🤭
Needs more soda bread
Bolands?!
There is a shop in Toronto that would sell some things from home that nowhere else had and a lot of the stuff was nearly always out of date as well as overpriced
Probably real sugar in the club orange and all….
Brack in April doesn’t feel right
Mmmm Club Orange and Chocolate Kimberleys.
That Butlers Hot Chocolate is unreal
Questions to be asked about the tayto selection at the very top ..
Fuck it, I’d kill for a shop that had a selection like that!
I’d murder a Club Orange and a Tiffin right now.
Barry’s for £3?! I pay $8 to buy it in Toronto
Didn’t think you could get Nash’s red lemonade outside of Limerick/Kerry
You can’t normally buy Tiffin or Mint Crisp Dairy Milks in the UK!!??
Oh, and the Bolands Fig Rolls are also pretty cursed.
The Irish Golden Crisp and Tiffin are completely superior to the UK versions.
You’ll be on a diet of cidona and barmbrack for the foreseeable
Feckin tiffin bars? Are they importing things through an 80s time warp?
God bless Sainsburys when they reduce the mint crisp to half price!
By the way, Valeo has to brand biscuits as “Bolands” in the UK as it only owns the rights to the Jacobs brand in Ireland. Actual many of those biscuits are actually made in the UK.

Things most definitely are cheaper there
It’s a respectable section, where is it?

All those Jacobs biscuits are no longer manufactured in Ireland. https://www.ccpc.ie/business/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2017/04/M-11-028-Valeo-Foods-Jacob-Fruitfield-Public.pdf
