UK and EU formally adopt new Brexit Windsor Framework deal

  1. Government celebrates success for a worse deal than they had before they commited the world greatest act of economic valandlism.

  2. I’m sure if we give it 6 months or so, there will be another outcry from a subset of tories complaining its not fit for purpose anyway.

Full disclosure: I have no idea what’s been agreed, so not commenting on whether I think it’s a good deal or not, just channelling a bit of mystic Meg.

P.s. didn’t bother mentioning the DUPs opposition to anything, because fuck those cunts…

  3. I am going to be cautiously optimistic about this, and that it turns a page, into a relationship with the EU which is less aggressive and one where we can still work together on some stuff.

However the other test is will Stormont will reopen. The people NI voted and have yet to get the Government they voted for.

  4. What I don’t understand is that this policy change is about N. Ireland, so the MLA’s from N.I. should vote on this, and not those in London, who have shown so often in the past that they just don’t care what the people in N.I. think.
