Hey everyone.
I have one thing that is not really clear for me.
According to the laws (I read it here [https://www.infofinland.fi/en/living-in-finland/housing/rental-dwelling/tenancy-agreement](https://www.infofinland.fi/en/living-in-finland/housing/rental-dwelling/tenancy-agreement)) I have the following information:
For a tenant, the notice period for termination of a tenancy agreement is always one calendar month. For a landlord, the length of the notice period is 3 or 6 month depending on how long the tenancy agreement has been in force.
But what if the landlord has already informed the tenant about termination of the agreement, should the tenant still inform the landlord in a month once they’re ready to move?

I’d say the landlord’s notice to quit, and the notice to you that is required, starts the dissolution of the agreement. You may wish to confirm receipt but I don’t think that is even necessary, I don’t think you then give notice as that would not be logical. If you wanted to leave sometime after the notice you have to give and less than the landlord has then you should notify them I would say, if nothing else as a courtesy.

Yes, if you’re moving out earlier than the date the landlord has notified your agreement is ending, the 1 month notice period still applies.
