I remember once my granny knitted us green, white and orange jumpers to wear watching Ireland play in international football. It was a big deal, the whole family got together to watch and we had to sit there in our super thick woolly jumpers.
Thing was this was World Cup ’94 and it was about 20ºC because of a mental heatwave that year.
