On June 18 the Swiss people will cast their votes on a new climate law. This counterproposal to the so-called Glacier Initiative aims to cut greenhouse gas emissions to “net zero” by 2050.

I love BS ^^
No tech is net zero… The one that pollutes the less is nuclear energy…
The graphics with sources is interesting. Show that we rely mostly on hydro and nuclear. Considering climate issues that are arising, not sure going more on hydro is a good thing. Nuclear, I’m not against but it will be really hard to push it back. Wind and geothermal nearly inexistent. So we should toward those maybe ?
No cars, No flights. Net Zero is nuts.
The best thing Switzerland can do to combat climate change is to build nuclear power plants and sell that energy to Germany so they stop using oil, coal and natural gas.
