They must be delusional if they think people will change their holiday plans last-minute when hospitalisations are actively going down.
I’m confused. Hospitalizations and infections have both been going down since beginning of December?
The possible horeca closing hour of 20:00 is also bullshit imo. I guess something like a swimming pool cafetaria can still survive like this with a lot of their revenue during the day. But anything else this is just “you won’t really have an income but you can still technically stay open so we won’t give much financial support”.

Telewerk uitbreiden. Naar wat? We mogen nu nog maar max. 1 dag per week op kantoor zitten. Er is nagenoeg geen enkel bedrijf dat 100% thuiswerk toelaat om God-weet-welke-reden want ze vinden altijd wel een excuus zoals “de cohesie van het team” of whatever.
But schools will reopen after the winter break…
Is the horeca really a bigger spreader than Universities, which somehow still hold to 100% physical?
Are Christmas and New Year really bigger spreaders than random drinking parties?
Is working from home actually done whenever possible?
Anyone know what to expect from “cancellation of all indoor & outdoor events”?
Does this include cinemas? Indoor & outdoor group sports? Gyms?

Als we nu even met z’n allen ons best doen zijn we er het rapst vanaf. /s
If het overlegscomite could make college/evening education stricter so we have the lessons at home, So I dont have to be in class at 9pm with windows open, that would be really swell.

Met de Communistische Partij van China aan het roer leefden we sinds maart 2020 in een theoretisch totalitair, praktisch redelijk vrij land. Gelukkig zijn we gezegend met VB, N-VA, OpenVLD en MR, dankzij dewelke we sinds maart 2020 in een theoretisch vrij, praktisch onvrij land kunnen leven.
Iedereen die ik wil zien is geboost, ik ga niet zoals vorig jaar in de koude buiten zitten om mijn pakjes open te doen.

I might be naïve in all this, but i kinda hoped on a G2+ system like they have in Germany.
We might not have the infrastructure for it, i have no clue. But after 2 years it would have been nice to have a different option than another lockdown.
The first times i was more than willing to close our business, but this time it really feels like there should have been more options to try and stick it out long enough for the boostershots to roll out. I dunno it hurts differently this time around.
The reason they keep doing this to us is because they know at the end of the day we will comply, no matter how much we are opposed to this bs…
The goverment won’t do shit. Until it’s too late, again. Rinse and repeat
