Looks like a type of cabin, and you probably get one by building one yourself from scratch.
Looks like a pretty basic A-frame cabin, where the lower part of the outer walls is covered by dirt.
You can get one by building it yourself, or hiring a contractor to do it. It might be you can also buy a building kit for the purpose, depending on where you are located.
Whos the artist? Looks like a custom build to me. Check out erik grankvist på YouTube. Everything is possible if you have the land to work on.
This is on of the cheapest cabins it’s possible to make. A-frame construction functions both as walls and roof. The roof is first covered with birch bark or wood tiles and then covered with dirt on top. In modern cabins, bark is replaced with robust construction plastic that lasts a lot longer.
Downside is that there is not much space inside due to the inclining walls.
He lives there fulltime?
Just to add to what others are saying, this is not a common type of building. We tend to make our houses and cabins having vertical walls, and have for a very long time. That A-frame building looks cool looking and so does the guy, but not having vertical walls makes everyday life a bit difficult.
Looks like a moden day version of the traditional Sami ‘jordgamme’ or ‘gamme’ to me.
This is a hobbit house
Well, never seen anything like it in all my years in Norway
I’m not sure but this looks like a hytte, or cottage. People don’t usually live full time in these, they’re more like vacation homes. But idk
I think if you immigrate to Norway you get one as a welcome gift.
Hey hey that’s Runahild and Gustav Holberg! I’ve got an interview with her on my channel – she’s lovely 🙂
Looks cool. Who’s the musician?
If he lives in it it would be called a “hus” or “hjem”.
You dont
The lock is on the outside (?!) Cant believe this is a home.
its a cabin. a normal cabin in the mountains
Practise your scales
Another Norwegian musician that you may have heard of played at my ancestor’s farm…[https://youtu.be/Znhna7g_n40](https://youtu.be/Znhna7g_n40)
