I was looking through tripadvisor when i found this image and was wondering if the pink looking yoghurt was indeed yoghurt or some sort of sauce? Is this normal in norway? Thanks in advance
This is not commonly served with this type of dish. I have no idea what that pink stuff is, even though I love *biffsnadder*.
You can possibly get that color in the sauce by adding beetroot or from blueberry.
What’s the name of the place on TripAdvisor? Can you find the menu online?
I would assume it’s a mixture of lingonberries and sour cream, and that the meat is some kind of game and not beef
Based on the color and the fact it is served with meat, I think it is a lingonberry dip sauce, most likely a mix of sour cream and lingonberry jam. The times I have used a sauce like that have been mostly in reindeer wraps.
My best suggestion is lingonberry mixed with sour cream, which can be served with meat. I personally think it’s delicious as a burger dressing.
What is the question?
That pink stuff is the only problem i have with this
And here I was thinking of beetroot-mayonnaise
shit looks ass tbh
Tyttebærkrem?? Hva er det på engelsk??
Is this yummy or yucky ?
I can’t decide
Have eaten similar pink goo several times.
This looks like a “biffsnadder” or a fancy attempt of kebabtallerken, I think the goo is a brand of kebab sauce most commonly used in suburbs or out of the major cities in my experience.

That bernaisse sauce looks flawless
i have never in my life seen that pink sauce before
I think its either thousand island which is trash tier dressing imo or lingonberry dressing which is verry nice
Might be some kind of cranberry sauce? Honestly i have no idea, what restaurant was this? I could check it out for you
