Dear norway subreddit,

I was looking through tripadvisor when i found this image and was wondering if the pink looking yoghurt was indeed yoghurt or some sort of sauce? Is this normal in norway? Thanks in advance

  1. Based on the color and the fact it is served with meat, I think it is a lingonberry dip sauce, most likely a mix of sour cream and lingonberry jam. The times I have used a sauce like that have been mostly in reindeer wraps.

  2. My best suggestion is lingonberry mixed with sour cream, which can be served with meat. I personally think it’s delicious as a burger dressing.

  3. Have eaten similar pink goo several times.

This looks like a “biffsnadder” or a fancy attempt of kebabtallerken, I think the goo is a brand of kebab sauce most commonly used in suburbs or out of the major cities in my experience.

  4. I think its either thousand island which is trash tier dressing imo or lingonberry dressing which is verry nice
