  1. > in political comeback speech

A political staying the fuck away speech would probably go over a lot better, and get the message across in a more successful manner.

  2. Truss needs to “get real” about a lot of things, including the fact she has single-handedly debunked her own right-wing economic theories, the threat she and her cronies pose to the UK and that her chances of a political comeback are non-existent.

  3. Is she the least employable former PM of all time? Who would she even do consultancy for? I’m guessing she didn’t hear back from her Tesco application so has decided to stay on in politics

  4. She shouldn’t be called former prime minister, she should be called accidental prime minister.

  5. Christ, she really doesn’t get it. Why does she think anyone wants to hear from her 🤷‍♂️

  6. Get it another year and she will be telling us we need to trade with them to unleash the brexit sunlit uplands. Lightweight politican who embraces the breeze.

  7. She tried a comeback in a huge essay

All it did was show us she had zero awareness of what she’d done and still hasn’t got a fucking clue how the world works

I look forward to another delusion filled moment that would embarrass anyone with self awareness

  8. Truss still banging the same drum, and she’s still of no use to anyone in politics, or indeed anywhere else..

  9. The fact that she can have a comeback speech, instead of having resigned her seat, shows she has zero honor or knowledge about how the world works. It took her less than two weeks to wreck the economy and bleed the country dry.

The fact she is still there also shows the Tories have zero sense of justice. Her seat, and Boris’ for that matter, are just political opportunism designed to keep an artificial majority up. In a functioning democracy, former PMs resign their seats after having been ousted from office. But in Britain, they can stay in the benches. Even be made Peer. Where is the justice in that?

  10. So what are the odds that she will propose any concrete practical policy towards China that will contain their power and not lead to WW3? I have yet to see this fuckwit do anything other than spout empty words and hot air delivered in the style of a 7 year-old in a school play, then come up with whatever daft policy the people pushing her buttons tell her to.

Her economic policy amounted to her saying ‘I like growth me, growth is good’ Like yeah, no shit Liz but it was your job to deliver a policy to produce it, but instead you crashed the markets and cost the country tens of bilions. I am expecting this ‘comeback speech’ to amount to ‘China is bad, beware bad China and nasty Mr Xi. Lets threaten to send in our boats and planes and tanks and bombs to show how tough we are’.

  11. I would love to see her voted out in the next election. She is incompetent and lacks good judgement. Nobody should take her views seriously anymore.

  12. Ok, let’s “get real”, my way.

I’m a fan of direct action. Boycotts, protests, strikes etc

So why don’t we all collectively act against China by throwing away (and refusing to buy) anything that has come through China as part of its production process?

Since she’s so concerned, and most of us aren’t, she can start us all off, and show us how it’s done.

However, she probably doesn’t subscribe to libertarian politics, and probably would rather force people through policy. Glad she’s irrelevant now, tbh
