Make him cover every penny of fixing the damage, and then toss a couple of fines on top of that.
He’s done it multiple times in the past, too it seems. Bankrupt him and his farm completely.
Now do the Tories and the water companies that they enable.
Farmers are probably the worst polluters. They do need to drag them into this century, with fines and custodial sentences if necessary.
Good. If only the water companies got the same same treatment for damaging our rivers.
People are acting as though he’s the exception and not the norm when it comes to the massive environmental damage farmers do across the entire country.
i thought at first yeah, do him, how much damage could one man have done…. then i seen the before and afters … omg!
What the fuck… I just found it on google maps and it was beautiful before. How could you do that to it.
Just confiscate all land belonging to him that is alongside the river, ban him from ever accessing the river in anyway, and charge him the full cost of restoration.
Just grim.
They don’t realize the amount of damage he did. The army Corp of Engineers have done that to some of our rivers and they have turned into canyon gully washers.
His work has stopped the rural villages flooding, which they have done for years before the river was dredged. He’s put Herefordshire Council & Environmental Agency to shame! If only he was patient enough to wait for his permit.
