  1. The EPR is a marvel of technology. As a III+ generation reactor there is no comparison in the world today in terms of quality and safety.

    It took a lot of effort. Congratulations Finland, you are the first to release that gem.

  2. For at least 15 years now finns have debated, which happens first. Nato membership or olkiluoto 3 completion (or hell freezing over or pigs flying). Nato membership just beat olkiluoto 3 on the finish line by about a month!

    I would have said we are past the safety concerns for most people. On the other hand the massive cost and time overruns in building nuclear are a major problem. Olkiluoto and Flamville are a troubling examples for the future of nuclear power in Europe.
