  1. Like the article mentioned this does not mean that the sanctions didn’t work as the Indians and Chinese buys their oil crude not refined (lower profit margins) and at significant discounts.

  2. When you consider the traditional discounts (not even the *current* discounts) over Brent crude, and Russia being one of the most expensive per-barrel producers in the world *before* the war… They’re practically *giving it away* just to keep the wells open at current market prices.

  3. The sanctions work and they do not only affect oil.
    It is sold at a loss, more than anything else it is known that Saudi Arabia helps Russia.

  4. The sanction is a joke the moment US tolerated Japan purchasing Russia oil (capped limited amount) and sent to Europe while ignorant masses were paying attention elsewhere
