I’ve lived in Lanzarote for 13 years, and love it. It’s a great place to live if, like me, your financial position is good, but a very bad place to be poor. I’ve travelled around southern Spain, Madrid and all the coastal regions from France to Portugal, and the north is definitely my favourite, especially Asturias.
