This was my first time making either, although I grew up eating these on “Greek Easter”: So I gave it a try, and they both turned out great! I added saffron and mastic to the baklava to give it a uniquely Greek flavor.
For those of you from the “Eastern Christian” countries, who celebrate Easter today: What are foods from your country that you associate with this holiday?
Happy Easter to all that celebrate today!
Happy Easter brother!
Happy Easter!
Happy easter! Looks delicious
Καλό Πάσχα!
Planning to visit your beautiful country next month.
Happy Easter!
Not from Europe, but grew up in Oakleigh, Melbourne, Aus. If you know, you know.
Does this mean my local greek cafe is likely not to be open? I may have to make my own spanakopita as well.
