They did the same thing for the 2016 commemoration of the Easter Rising. Anytime there’s something important which may get an audience the homeless will be swept away. Wouldn’t want to show our biggest crisis to an international audience in case our lovely reputation gets hurt.
The city is going to be broadcast all over the world. It’s better for all of us if people don’t realise it’s a kip.

Imagine working in there, looking out the office window for all that time, seeing here tents. You’d wonder did anyone there even try to find out if they could sort something out.

They should have been removed the day they set up camp there. Don’t know they were allowed to stay for so long and keep expanding.
