I low-key hope, but also think, that MR should let the governement fall over this. Because the situation is nothing like Marrakech:
– MR is not in a desireable government, it’s left wing politics all the way if you consider economics
– Has everything to gain according to the latest polls, certainly those that poll for opinions on the nuclear exit. Something that will dominate the upcoming elections if they make the governement fall.
– Has an ally on the other side who is also very strongly profiled on this front
If they let the government fall, MR stands a chance here to be the strongest they have been in decades. Stands a chance to get a strong economic right wing governement out of it. And most of all, is able to undo all the political power progress from Ecolo from the last elections. Ecolo at this moment, certainly after the latest developments, would get absolutely smashed, least of all in bxl.
I wonder how Lachaert reflects on his decision to tie oVLD to MR so closely during govt formation these days
Good, she is right btw there is nu energy certainty once you go down that path so according to the law they should postpone it.
