  1. FreeHour’s handing on this was a disgrace. They should have worked together to patch the glaring security issues.

    Instead Zach goes on the hunt – in the process dragging FreeHour through the mud.

  2. So there’s a breach in the App and the police arrest the ones who found out the breach? How exactly does enforcement work in this country?

  3. The police here are a joke. Finding a bug isn’t against any laws. Freehour had to report this incident I agree they should be more clear to the police of the intentions of the students and help them get out of the situation by stating they won’t file charges. However I believe these people are being investigated as they essentially did a non authorized pen test luckily the way they got in was easy and it has merit to be argued in court about its legality but the authority could say it’s a cause for investigation for any other accounts of criminal activities.

    I honestly don’t see how it got this far. Freehour should have hidden the names from the report but they were right to file it from my perspective. The police are wasting resources on something of no real justice in fact they in turn are causing 4 good citizens to not attempt to be pro-active with any possible future breaches.
