Does anyone remember the finnish hard candy called merkkari? I haven’t seen them in stores in years? Did Fazer stop selling them? I have been looking for them for like 5 years? I loved the candy and would love to know if you have any idea where i might find this candy? Thank you in advance!

  1. I remember someone saying that they made little cuts to the candies because there was some cases where the candy got stuck in the henkitorvi

  2. You better make an appointment to your dentist ready before buying that shit, because I guarantee that half of your fillings will stick to candy instead of tooth.

  3. It’s gone. My favourite substitute is Haribo’s Super Piratos – heavier om the salt and less, erm, potentially lethal on the consistency.

  4. Last time I ate them was back when they were larger and sold in kiosks. Price was per individual candy, not by weight. I never knew these were sold as recently as few years ago.

  5. Have been out of production some years allready.
I have eaten those a lot and never had a problems any kind.
Simple to understand that you never bite hard candy, you suck and melt it on yor mouth.
And if it got stuck on roof of your mout… Just lick it there.

Why someone are so stupid that bites hard candy?
I wonder what the hell people did to get those on their throat.

Suggestion. Restart production of these and put age restriction to it god damn it. If some stupid adult shokes on these and there were warning about it then it is just bad luck to that person.

  6. There is a shop at Turun Kauppahalli where you can still buy them. My brother in law just bought them today.

  7. These are not the originals. I used to buy those from the local candy store by telling the salesperson how many individual candies of what ever sort i wanted.

Talk about decline of the level of services in our society.
