  2. I’m in the “this is a job for the RVA, not the unions” camp. You create a perverse incentive with the current system where more unemployment means more money.

  3. Good idea. A good union helps with unity and is supposed to protect workers rights. It’s a benefit for every worker, which ultimately is a benefit for society.

    The support of the government yields gigantic social dividends. Taking it away would be a disaster for everyone at all layers of society.

  4. I’m not sure and probably stupid, but aren’t unions supposed to protect the workings? It feel strange to financially incentive not working.

  6. They claim they lose money per unemployed person, yet they need money because unemployment is decreasing, which would mean their losses are shrinking.

  9. Everybody knows that unions have been getting bigger and stronger in the last decades, and that nowadays, they rule over employers, and corporations with an evil and strong hand.

    The great union oppression and injustice are bringing the big companies at the brink of the disaster…

    With the help of the powerful unions, the enriched workers keep bypassing most of the rules and are increasing limitless their salaries and incredible good conditions. They almost get rich working 1 or 2 hours a day, while the corporations and the shareholders are dire straits!

    We only can trust the “resistance” of a small group of “independent” parties and journalists committed with the truth, the objectivity and the defense of this unfair oppression towards mega corporations.

    Now, in another step to enforce the powerful fist of the unions empire, the government is giving them more of the precious money that steals from the multinationals…

    Thanks HLN, for telling the truth, and nothing but the truth, about this new injustice of the evil powerful and dark empire of the Belgian unions…
